WON’T BACK DOWN

Have you seen the new movie, Won’t Back Down? It is the story of how a group of parents took over a failing school and made it work. It casts the teachers as villains and the parents and the outside forces that assisted them as heroes. However, many are saying that it is a veiled attempt to get parents, particular in urban schools districts, to consent to having private corporations run school systems for their own purposes.
